## Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised *Executive – Assortment* to support gemstone and jewellery assortment, quality checks, inventory management, and manufacturing coordination. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of gemstones, diamonds, jewellery production processes, and inventory management while ensuring high standards of quality and accuracy.
## Key Responsibilities
* Perform *gemstone assortment* by sorting and categorising gemstones based on type, size, shape, colour, and quality grade.
* Conduct *gemstone quality inspections* by evaluating clarity, colour, cut, finish, and overall quality as per company standards.
* Carry out *diamond grading* using standard millimetre (MM) sizing methods and maintain accurate grading records.
* Assemble jewellery sets and perform *quality checks* to ensure finishing, matching, and craftsmanship meet quality standards.
* Coordinate with internal manufacturing teams and vendors to monitor the *jewellery manufacturing process*, ensuring timely production and adherence to specifications.
* Provide operational and coordination support for *marketing activities*, including product information, gemstone details, cataloguing, and product launches.
* Maintain *inventory records*, stock reconciliation, and system entries using Microsoft Excel and internal inventory management systems.
* Ensure accurate documentation and maintain proper records for stock movement, quality inspections, and production activities.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Category, Production, Procurement, and Sales to ensure smooth operations.
* Follow quality, compliance, and process standards while maintaining confidentiality of inventory and product information.
## Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred).
* Certification or knowledge in Gemology/Diamond Grading will be an added advantage.
## Experience
* 2–5 years of experience in gemstone assortment, jewellery manufacturing, merchandising, or inventory operations.
* Prior experience in the jewellery, diamond, or luxury retail industry is preferred.
## Required Skills
* Strong knowledge of gemstones, diamonds, and jewellery manufacturing processes.
* Understanding of diamond grading and MM sizing techniques.
* Good attention to detail and quality assessment skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.
* Strong organisational, analytical, and coordination abilities.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
