Role Description The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing concepts, creating mood boards, and preparing presentations for client meetings. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with space planning, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E details, and helping prepare construction drawings and documentation. The role also involves site visits, coordination with vendors and contractors, and maintaining project files and schedules. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat, requiring regular collaboration with the team and participation in client interactions.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate concepts into functional layouts.
- Knowledge of Architecture principles and building standards relevant to interior projects.
- Ability to prepare and interpret Construction Drawings and related technical documentation.
- Experience or coursework in FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment coordination.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic MS Office tools.
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong visual sense, attention to detail, and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with willingness to learn and take feedback.
