An architecture and interior design practice in Bodakdev, Ahmedabad is hiring a Junior Interior Designer with 1–3 years of professional experience to contribute to residential and commercial interior projects. The role involves supporting design development, preparing drawings and presentations, coordinating materials and vendors, and assisting with project execution.
Project Exposure

- Interior detailing and documentation
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing interior design concepts and space planning based on project requirements.
- Prepare floor plans, furniture layouts, elevations, sections, and interior details.
- Develop mood boards, material palettes, and design presentations.
- Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models to communicate design concepts.
- Assist with material selection, furniture specifications, finishes, and design details.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and project stakeholders during project execution.
- Participate in site visits to understand site conditions and support design implementation.
- Coordinate drawing revisions and design updates with the internal project team.
- Research materials, products, furniture, and other interior elements based on project requirements.
- Maintain project drawings, presentations, material information, and design documentation.
- Support the senior design team in meeting project timelines and deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related design discipline.
- 1–3 years of professional experience in interior design or a related design practice.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Working knowledge of 3D modelling and rendering software.
- Understanding of space planning, furniture layouts, materials, finishes, and interior detailing.
- Ability to prepare 2D drawings, design presentations, and basic technical documentation.
- Familiarity with residential and commercial interior projects.
- Experience coordinating with vendors and contractors will be an added advantage.
- Good communication, coordination, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple design tasks and project deliverables.
Work Schedule
- Location: Bodakdev, Ahmedabad
- Working days: Monday - Saturday (10:00 AM - 7:30 PM); Alternate Saturdays off
