Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Architect role based in Lucknow. The Junior Architect will support senior team members in developing architectural concepts, preparing drawings, and creating design documentation for projects across various sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in schematic and detailed design, coordinating with structural, MEP, and other consultants, and contributing to presentations, 3D models, and visualizations. The role involves reviewing plans for functionality, sustainability, and compliance with codes and regulations, as well as participating in site visits and construction coordination when required. The Junior Architect is expected to collaborate closely with project teams, maintain accurate project records, and proactively contribute ideas that align with the firm’s design standards and sustainability goals.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to develop and interpret design concepts and technical drawings.
- Experience or familiarity with Software Development and Integration related to architectural tools, such as BIM platforms and design software interoperability.
- Basic understanding of Project Management principles, including planning, coordination, and tracking of design deliverables.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite or similar visualization software).
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; professional registration or intent to pursue registration is an advantage.
- Knowledge of sustainable and climate-responsive design principles, building codes, and construction practices.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to present design ideas clearly to internal stakeholders.
