Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. The Job Title will be responsible for contributing to the magazine’s content and operations, which may include researching industry developments, drafting and editing articles, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Daily activities can involve gathering data from industry sources, interviewing subject matter experts, preparing reports or features, and ensuring that content meets editorial standards and deadlines. The role also includes collaborating with the editorial team, supporting layout or production processes as needed, and maintaining accurate records and documentation related to assigned projects.
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate content.
- Ability to research and analyze information from multiple sources, particularly related to steel, metallurgy, or industrial sectors.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple assignments and meet publication deadlines.
- Comfort working collaboratively in an on-site team environment in the Greater Kolkata Area.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Journalism, Communications, Engineering, or related discipline is preferred.
- Interest in the steel and metallurgical industry, and willingness to build knowledge of industry trends and technologies.
- Proficiency with common office software and basic familiarity with publishing or content management tools is an advantage.
