Retail Sales Associate Trainer – Gems & Jewellery
Job Description
- Conduct training programs for retail sales associates in the gems and jewellery industry.
- Train sales staff on jewellery products, gemstones, designs, features, and specifications.
- Provide practical training on customer handling, product presentation, and sales techniques.
- Teach effective communication, customer engagement, and relationship-building skills.
- Train associates on understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable products.
- Conduct product demonstrations and role-play sessions to improve sales performance.
- Train employees on handling customer objections, queries, and negotiations.
- Monitor trainee performance and provide regular feedback and coaching.
- Develop training materials, presentations, product guides, and learning resources.
- Evaluate employees through assessments, practical sessions, and performance reviews.
- Identify skill gaps and provide additional training where required.
- Support the sales team in improving conversion rates and achieving sales targets.
- Stay updated with jewellery market trends, customer preferences, and retail sales practices.
- Coordinate with store management to ensure training requirements are aligned with business goals.
- Maintain training records and prepare performance reports for management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong teaching and training experience.
- Hands-on experience in the gems and jewellery industry.
- Good knowledge of jewellery products and retail sales processes.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent customer-handling and sales training abilities.
- Good understanding of retail sales techniques and customer psychology.
- Ability to motivate, coach, and develop sales associates.
- Strong observation, evaluation, and feedback skills.
- Ability to conduct both classroom and practical training sessions.
- Good knowledge of current gems and jewellery market trends.
