Designation- Inventory Auditor
Base Location- Ahmedabad & Pune
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct periodic and surprise stock audits across assigned retail stores and warehouses.
- Perform physical stock counts and reconcile stock with ERP/POS records.
- Identify stock shortages, excess, damages, and inventory variances.
- Verify GRN, STN, stock transfers, returns, and inter-store movements.
- Audit billing, sales returns, exchanges, and inventory adjustments.
- Verify serial numbers/IMEI of high-value electronics and fast-moving products.
- Monitor shrinkage, pilferage, and suspicious stock transactions.
- Ensure compliance with inventory SOPs, tagging, storage, and stock handling processes.
- Prepare audit reports, variance analysis, and highlight key observations.
- Follow up with stores for closure of audit findings and corrective actions.
- Support investigations related to theft, fraud, and stock loss.
- Guide store teams on proper stock handling, counting, and inventory practices.
- Travel extensively across assigned store locations.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in Inventory Audit / Stock Audit / Retail Audit / Inventory Control.
- Graduate; B.Com preferred.
- Good knowledge of inventory reconciliation and retail processes.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, ERP and POS systems.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity, analytical and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
