Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Interventional Cardiologist based in Noida. The Interventional Cardiologist will perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures, including catheter-based interventions, in the cath lab and related settings. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, interpreting diagnostic tests, planning and performing interventional procedures, and providing pre- and post-procedure management. The role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards, and participation in quality improvement initiatives. The Interventional Cardiologist is also expected to contribute to patient education, clinical documentation, and, where applicable, teaching and training of junior medical staff.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in clinical Medicine, with the ability to manage complex cardiovascular cases.
- Advanced expertise in Cardiology, including diagnosis, medical management, and follow-up of cardiac conditions.
- Hands-on experience in Cath Lab operations, including invasive cardiac diagnostics and procedural safety.
- Proficiency in Interventional techniques such as angiography, angioplasty, and stent placement.
- Specialized training and proven competence in Interventional Cardiology, preferably in high-volume centers.
- Recognized postgraduate qualification in Cardiology (DM/DNB or equivalent), with relevant registrations as per Indian medical council regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, with strong clinical judgement, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous professional development, and adherence to ethical and patient-centric care standards.
- Experience in tertiary care hospital settings and exposure to emergency cardiac care (acute coronary syndromes, cardiac arrest) is highly beneficial.
