Role Description This is a full-time, on-site General Surgeon role based at Healing Hands Clinic in Bengaluru. The General Surgeon will perform diagnostic evaluations, plan and carry out surgical procedures related to conditions such as hernia, piles, clinical documentation in compliance with clinic protocols and regulatory standards. The role involves collaborating with anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and allied health professionals to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based surgical care. The General Surgeon will also participate in case discussions, quality improvement initiatives, and patient education efforts to support long-term health outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Medicine with the ability to manage preoperative and postoperative care for surgical patients.
- Advanced skills in Surgery, particularly general and gastrointestinal surgery relevant to constipation, piles, hernia, and related conditions.
- Medical degree (MBBS) and completed residency or equivalent training in General Surgery; valid medical license and board/college registration.
- Proven experience in performing routine and complex surgeries in a clinical or hospital setting, with a strong focus on patient safety and outcomes.
- Excellent clinical judgment, manual dexterity, and adherence to surgical best practices and infection control standards.
- Effective communication skills, ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Willingness to participate in continuous professional development and stay updated on advances in colorectal and general surgery.
