Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, and customer-focused International Travel Consultant / Assistant to join our Mumbai team. The selected candidate will be responsible for understanding clients' travel requirements, designing customized international holiday packages, preparing detailed itineraries and quotations, coordinating travel arrangements, and ensuring a seamless experience from initial inquiry to completion of the journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand clients' travel requirements, preferences, interests, budgets, and expectations through detailed discussions.
- Design customized international travel packages and personalized itineraries based on client requirements.
- Research and recommend suitable destinations, hotels, flights, sightseeing, transfers, activities, and unique travel experiences.
- Prepare detailed travel proposals, quotations, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with hotels, airlines, DMCs, tour operators, and other travel partners for reservations and confirmations.
- Manage the complete booking process, including flights, accommodation, transfers, sightseeing, activities, and other travel-related services.
- Provide clients with accurate information regarding travel documentation, visa requirements, passport validity, travel insurance, and other applicable international travel requirements.
- Ensure timely follow-up with clients and provide excellent service throughout the planning, booking, and travel process.
- Identify opportunities to enhance client experiences through upgrades, additional services, and value-added travel products.
- Handle amendments, cancellations, and travel-related changes efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, quotations, bookings, payments, and other travel-related documentation.
- Stay updated with international destinations, travel trends, visa regulations, airline policies, and new travel products.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with suppliers, hotels, airlines, DMCs, and other travel partners.
- Coordinate internally with relevant teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery of travel services.
- Handle multiple client requirements simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, quality, and timely service.

- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle last-minute changes and client concerns.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with travel booking systems and travel industry platforms will be an advantage.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate in Tourism, Hospitality, Travel Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience as an International Travel Consultant, Travel Designer, Travel Assistant, or in a similar role will be preferred.
- Candidates with relevant internship experience and a strong interest in international travel may also be considered for an Assistant-level position.
- Knowledge of international travel documentation, visa processes, and travel regulations is preferred.
- Fluency in English is essential. Knowledge of additional languages will be an added advantage.
