Intern-Digital Marketing (GEO, AEO and SEO)
Hiring on behalf of Bosswallah Media
Location: Hyderabad (in-office)
Stipend: ₹15,000/month
Type: Internship, with potential to convert to full-time
About the role
Search is no longer just a list of blue links. People now get answers from featured snippets and from AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini, and brands need to show up in all of them. We're looking for a sharp, self-driven Digital Marketing Intern who understands this shift and wants to build a career at the front of it.
You'll work directly with the founders across SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation), alongside content, community and research. This is a high-ownership role with real responsibilities and visible impact from day one, not a coffee-fetching internship.
Eligibility (please read before applying)
✔ 2025 or 2026 graduate, any stream
✔ At least one prior Digital Marketing internship is mandatory. If you haven't done one, please don't apply.
What you'll do
SEO, AEO & GEO
- Research keywords and map them to content structured for both Google and AI search
- Optimise pages, FAQs and landing pages for featured snippets, People Also Ask, voice search and AI-generated answers
- Handle on-page SEO and basic technical housekeeping: meta tags, schema markup, internal linking
- Track Bosswallah Media's visibility in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini, and work to improve it
- Monitor keyword positions and content performance, and report on what's working
Content & community
- Repurpose existing content (including video) into multiple formats across search, social and other channels
- Build and maintain an active, genuine presence in relevant online communities and professional networks
- Keep business listings and brand profiles accurate and consistent across the web
Research & outreach
- Research competitors and industry trends, and turn findings into clear, actionable summaries
- Identify and reach out to relevant websites, publications and partners for backlinks, collaborations and coverage
What we're looking for
- Solid understanding of core SEO: on-page, off-page and technical
- Genuine interest in AEO and GEO: how AI search works and how brands can show up in it
- Strong written English and a sharp eye for detail
- Comfortable with research and organising information clearly
- A self-starter who manages tasks independently and hits deadlines
- Working familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Sheets, plus a willingness to pick up new tools quickly
- Familiarity with social platforms and online communities (a plus if you've posted or contributed yourself)
- Bonus: hands-on experience with Ahrefs, Semrush or Screaming Frog, or exposure to analytics tools and content management systems
What you'll get
- ₹15,000/month stipend
- Direct mentorship from the founders
- Real ownership and visible impact from day one
- Exposure to the full digital marketing function, from SEO and AI search to content, community and analytics, in a fast-moving team
- Potential to convert to a full-time role based on performance
