Role Description The Interior Site Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing day-to-day interior construction and fit-out activities at project locations. The role includes coordinating with design teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and safety standards. The Interior Site Supervisor monitors progress, manages site resources, conducts quality checks, and ensures adherence to timelines and budgets. Daily tasks involve supervising installation of materials and finishes, resolving on-site issues, maintaining documentation such as site reports and checklists, and communicating project updates to management and clients. The role also requires enforcing compliance with health, safety, and regulatory guidelines while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong site supervision and project coordination skills, including managing contractors, monitoring progress, and handling day-to-day site operations.
- Candidates should possess skills in reading and interpreting architectural and interior drawings, understanding specifications, and ensuring accurate execution on site.
- Candidates should possess quality control and safety management skills, with the ability to enforce standards, check workmanship, and maintain compliance with safety regulations.
- Candidates should possess communication and stakeholder management skills, including clear reporting, collaboration with designers and vendors, and professional client interaction.
- Candidates should possess basic planning and documentation skills, such as preparing site reports, tracking materials, and supporting schedule and resource planning.
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in interior site supervision or fit-out projects.
- Ability to work on multiple projects, adapt to changing site conditions, and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment; familiarity with Mumbai building norms and local vendors is an advantage.
