Role Description The Interior Design Consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad, with a compensation range of 3–6 LPA. The consultant will meet with clients to understand their lifestyle, design preferences, and functional requirements, and translate these into practical design concepts and layouts. Daily responsibilities include preparing mood boards, selecting materials, finishes, and furniture, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and ensuring timely execution of design plans. The role involves guiding clients through the design process, presenting proposals, managing revisions, and supporting sales conversions through informed product recommendations. The consultant will also maintain accurate project documentation, stay updated on design trends, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver consistent client experiences.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively understand client needs and provide clear, professional guidance.
- Candidates should possess Interior Design skills, including space planning, material selection, and an eye for aesthetics and functionality.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to support lead conversion, upselling of services, and closing design and furnishing deals.
- Candidates should possess Furniture-related knowledge, including styles, ergonomics, and compatibility with overall interior concepts.
- Relevant qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; professional certification or diploma in interior design is an advantage.
- Proficiency in design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar software) and basic project coordination skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors.
- Prior experience in residential interior projects or home furnishing consulting is preferred.
