Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Hyderabad. The Interior Designer will develop concepts and layouts for residential projects, including 3BHK apartments, villas, and premium homes, aligned with client needs and Chic Spaces’ design standards. Responsibilities include conducting client meetings, preparing mood boards and design presentations, selecting materials, finishes, and FF&E, and coordinating with vendors and contractors for timely project execution. The role involves producing detailed drawings and documentation, conducting site visits to track progress and quality, and resolving design-related issues on-site. The Interior Designer will collaborate with the internal team to ensure designs are feasible, within budget, and consistent with the studio’s aesthetic and functional goals.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills for residential projects.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Architecture principles and the ability to read and interpret construction documentation.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in preparing Construction Drawings, including detailed plans, elevations, and sections.
- Candidates should possess experience with FF&E selection, including finishes, fixtures, furnishings, and styling.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic MS Office tools.
- Strong visual presentation skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of contemporary and luxury interior trends.
- Effective communication, client-facing skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Prior experience in residential or luxury interiors in an on-site or studio setting is preferred.
