Role Description This full-time, on-site Interior Designer (Luxury Lighting) role is based in Hyderabad and focuses on high-end residential and commercial interiors with an emphasis on sophisticated lighting solutions. The Interior Designer will translate client requirements into detailed design concepts, develop mood boards and lighting layouts, and collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless execution. Daily tasks include space planning, preparing and reviewing construction drawings, selecting FF&E (fixtures, furniture, and equipment), and coordinating luxury lighting elements that enhance overall ambience and functionality. The role also involves site visits, supervising installation quality, maintaining project documentation, and communicating clearly with clients and internal stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
Qualifications
- Ability to plan and organize interior spaces effectively, including strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design.
- Foundational understanding of Architecture principles and experience collaborating with architectural and engineering teams.
- Proficiency in preparing and interpreting detailed Construction Drawings using relevant design and drafting software.
- Experience with FF&E selection, specification, and coordination, especially for premium and luxury materials, finishes, and lighting fixtures.
- Demonstrated experience in luxury interior projects, preferably with a focus on lighting design and high-end residential or commercial spaces.
- Strong visual and aesthetic sense, with the ability to present concepts through sketches, 3D models, or digital presentations.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with clients, vendors, and site teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
