Role Description This is a full-time Interior Designer role based in Worli with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work-from-home flexibility. The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, space plans, and mood boards for residential and commercial projects, aligning solutions with client needs and the studio’s design philosophy. Day-to-day activities include meeting with clients, preparing detailed drawings and documentation, coordinating FF&E selections, and collaborating closely with architects, contractors, and vendors. The role also involves site visits to oversee implementation quality, monitor progress, and ensure designs are executed according to specifications, timelines, and budget. The Interior Designer will contribute to presentation materials and support continuous improvement of design standards and processes within the studio.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design, with the ability to translate client requirements into functional, aesthetic layouts.
- Understanding of Architecture principles and integration of interiors with architectural intent.
- Proficiency in preparing Construction Drawings and technical documentation for execution and coordination.
- Experience in FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, specification, and coordination.
- Relevant design software proficiency (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic visualization skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong communication, presentation, and client-facing skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Attention to detail, organized work habits, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Prior experience in luxury residential or commercial interiors is an advantage.
