Role Description The Interior Designer @Kolkata (Luxury Project) will work on high-end residential and commercial interiors, taking responsibility for concept development, space planning, material selection, and detailed design documentation. Day-to-day tasks include meeting clients to understand requirements, preparing mood boards and design presentations, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and supervising on-site work to ensure design quality and timely execution. The designer will collaborate closely with the project team to maintain design standards, manage budgets and timelines, and ensure a smooth client experience from start to finish. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Kolkata, with a mix of on-site presence at project locations and studio, along with some work-from-home flexibility.
Qualifications
- Strong interior design fundamentals, including space planning, material and color selection, and familiarity with luxury finishes.
- Proficiency in design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and ability to create clear drawings and presentations.
- Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to understand requirements, present design concepts, and manage expectations professionally.
- Experience coordinating with contractors, vendors, and site teams, with strong project management and time-management abilities.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a portfolio demonstrating high-quality interior design work, preferably in luxury projects.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Kolkata, including regular site visits and flexible collaboration with the studio team.
