Hummingbird Is Hiring | Insurance Support Specialist | US Healthcare - Dental Insurance
Location: Remote initially, transitioning to Gurgaon office in the coming months
One of our San Francisco-based clients is looking for an Insurance Support Specialist to support US dental insurance verification and benefits-related operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Call US insurance payers to verify patient eligibility and dental benefits.
* Speak with insurance representatives and accurately capture benefit information.
* Navigate payer phone systems and follow verification workflows.
* Document verification results accurately in internal systems.
* Identify and escalate unclear or conflicting information.
* Support daily operational tasks and help improve workflows.
Requirements:
* Strong English communication and listening skills.
* Comfortable understanding and speaking American English.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Comfortable with phone-heavy work.
* Good problem-solving and documentation skills.
* Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems quickly.
* Experience in US healthcare or dental insurance is a plus.
Work Requirements:
* Comfortable working US EST and PST hours.
* Willingness to work in a phone-heavy environment.
