Role Description The Instructor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune . The Instructor will design and deliver engaging lessons that build employability, communication, and professional skills for underprivileged youth. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning curricula, preparing teaching materials, conducting classroom sessions, facilitating interactive activities, and assessing learner progress. The Instructor will provide mentorship, guidance, and feedback to learners, maintain accurate records of attendance and performance, and collaborate with colleagues to improve training content and outcomes. The role also involves coordinating with program staff to support placements, participating in training for instructional improvement, and contributing to a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
- Strong instructional and classroom management skills, including lesson planning, facilitation, and learner assessment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners and build trust.
- Ability to use basic digital tools (e.g., office productivity software, online resources) to support teaching and learning.
- Experience or interest in vocational training, skill development, or working with underprivileged communities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Psychology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work collaboratively in a mission-driven environment.
- Proficiency in English and local languages commonly spoken in Pune is an advantage.
- Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience in classroom or community settings is preferred.
