Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Science Instructor role based in Hyderabad. The Science Instructor will design and deliver engaging lessons in science subjects, with a focus on Physics and related Mathematics concepts for K–12 learners. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning lessons aligned with curriculum standards, preparing teaching materials, conducting classroom instruction and lab activities, assessing learner progress, and providing constructive feedback. The role involves collaborating with other educators and academic teams to integrate Next Education’s digital content and tools into classroom practice, maintaining accurate records of student performance, and participating in training sessions to stay current with pedagogical and product developments. The Science Instructor is expected to create an inclusive, safe, and motivating learning environment that supports diverse learning needs and promotes curiosity and critical thinking.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Science Education expertise with the ability to teach integrated science concepts at the K–12 level.
- Candidates should possess subject-matter proficiency in Physics and related Mathematics topics appropriate for school curricula.
- Candidates should possess qualifications as a Qualified Teacher, with formal training in education or pedagogy.
- Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning skills, including curriculum alignment, assessment design, and differentiation for diverse learners.
- Relevant qualifications and skills include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Science or Education, experience teaching in CBSE/ICSE or state board schools, and familiarity with edtech tools and digital classrooms.
- Additional beneficial skills include strong classroom management, clear communication, collaborative working style, comfort with technology-driven instruction, and a commitment to learner-centric and inclusive teaching practices.
