Role Description: The Instructional Designer / Subject Matter Expert (Experienced in US curriculum) is a contractual remote role based in Gurgaon. This role involves designing and developing curriculum-aligned instructional materials for K–12 and higher education, with a strong focus on US standards in STEM subjects such as ELA, Science and SST. The individual will use AI tools to create lesson plans and assessments, followed by a manual review to ensure content accuracy, clarity, and pedagogical effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Experience in assessment creation (Rationales and Distractors).
- Demonstrated expertise in Instructional Design and Curriculum Development, preferably aligned with US K–12 and university-level standards in ELA or STEM subjects.
- Familiarity with US educational frameworks, standards (e.g., Common Core, NGSS, NCSS), and assessment practices.
- Proficiency with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Gemini.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Master’s degree in Education, ELA or any STEM subject; prior experience as an instructional designer or SME for US curriculum is highly preferred.
