Industrial Engineering Manager – Electronics / EMS / Power Electronics / Power Product
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering with minimum 11+yrs of progressive experience in industrial engineering roles within a manufacturing environment,
· Strong knowledge of Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Systems.
· Expertise in time study, work measurement, line balancing, capacity planning, and manpower planning.
· The Industrial Engineering Manager will lead and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
· Lead method study, work measurement, time study, line balancing, and capacity planning activities.
· Conduct capacity studies based on demand, equipment, process capability, and available manpower.
· Develop dashboards and KPIs for productivity, efficiency, utilization, OEE, cycle time, labor productivity, and capacity.
· Support new product introduction, process development, and production line commissioning.
· This role involves in improve operational performance and support strategic business goals.
· Proven expertise in lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies
· Experience working in electronics / power electronics / power products is must
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
· Proficiency in process mapping, time studies, capacity planning, and layout optimization.
· Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES), good understanding of support systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) .
· Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
· Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
· Knowledge of relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
· Develop, implement, and maintain industrial engineering methodologies, tools, and best practices across manufacturing operations.
· Conduct time studies, motion studies, and process analyses to identify bottlenecks, waste, and areas for improvement.
· Design and optimize production layouts, material flow, and workstation designs to enhance efficiency and ergonomics.
· Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for manufacturing processes.
· Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other relevant methodologies.
· Develop and implement capacity planning models to ensure optimal resource utilization and meet production demands.
· Analyze production data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor performance and identify trends.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, supply chain, and RD to drive operational excellence.
