Role Description This is a full-time, on-site HVAC Engineer role based in Noida. The HVAC Engineer will design, implement, and optimize HVAC systems for Hyperpure facilities, including cold storage, processing areas, and distribution centers to maintain strict temperature and air quality standards. Responsibilities include developing HVAC designs and layouts, preparing CAD drawings, coordinating with project and operations teams, and ensuring systems comply with safety, regulatory, and energy-efficiency requirements. The role involves overseeing installation, conducting regular inspections, troubleshooting issues, and leading preventive and corrective maintenance activities. The HVAC Engineer will also track performance metrics, recommend improvements, and support expansion projects to maintain a robust and scalable farm-to-kitchen cold chain.
Qualifications
- Strong HVAC Engineering and HVAC Design skills, with experience in system sizing, load calculations, and selection of equipment.
- Proficiency in HVAC fundamentals and system integration for cold chain, storage, and food processing environments.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for HVAC layouts, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Competence in Maintenance & Repair of HVAC equipment, including diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and emergency troubleshooting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; relevant professional certifications in HVAC are an advantage.
- Knowledge of applicable safety, environmental, and building codes; familiarity with energy-efficient and sustainable HVAC practices.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and work effectively in on-site industrial settings.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills; prior experience in cold chain, food processing, or warehousing facilities is preferred.
