Role Description The Human Resources Intern will support the HR function by assisting with daily HR operations in a full-time, remote role. Typical responsibilities include helping maintain employee records, supporting recruitment and onboarding processes, and contributing to the development and documentation of HR policies and procedures. The intern will assist in coordinating employee benefits information, preparing HR-related communications, and responding to basic HR inquiries under supervision. Additional tasks may include compiling HR metrics, helping organize virtual training sessions or team engagement activities, and ensuring compliance with internal guidelines. This role offers exposure to a broad range of HR practices and the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management.
- Candidates should possess skills related to HR Policies and understanding of Employee Benefits.
- Candidates should possess abilities in Personnel Management, including maintaining records and supporting HR processes.
- Candidates should possess strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with office and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, video conferencing platforms).
- Candidates should possess an interest in employment law, ethical HR practices, and maintaining confidentiality.
- Candidates should possess or be actively pursuing education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
