Job Title: HR Intern
Job Description:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Intern who is eager to gain hands-on experience in recruitment and core HR operations. In this role, you will support the HR team across the end-to-end hiring lifecycle, onboarding, and day-to-day people operations, while learning best practices in talent acquisition, candidate experience, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the end-to-end recruitment process for junior to mid-level roles.
- Source candidates through job portals, social media platforms, referrals, and internal databases.
- Screen applications and build a pipeline of potential talent to meet ongoing hiring requirements.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and internal stakeholders.
- Assist in sharing offer letters and support basic negotiation discussions where applicable.
- Help with pre-employment documentation and conduct reference checks.
- Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.
- Coordinate joining formalities, documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Facilitate timely introductions of new hires to their respective teams.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and ensure regular follow-ups with candidates and hiring teams.
- Contribute to a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring and onboarding journey.
- Support the HR team with day-to-day operations and employee engagement initiatives as required.
Preferred Skills:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of recruitment processes and HR operations.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Good organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, trackers, and documentation.
- Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
