Job Summary
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws. The role supports onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, payroll coordination, performance management, HR systems, and employee engagement while maintaining accurate employee records and delivering excellent HR services to internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing, ensuring accurate calculation of salaries, overtime, leave, deductions, incentives, allowances, final settlements, and statutory payments in accordance with company policies and applicable labor laws.
- Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate processing of employee data, leave, attendance, and salary changes.
- Handle employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, leave, attendance, and payroll.
- Coordinate employee confirmations, transfers, promotions, and separations.
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRMS/Oracle HCM and ensure data integrity.
- Prepare employment contracts, letters, certificates, and other HR-related documentation.
- Administer probation reviews and coordinate confirmation processes.
- Manage employee leave administration, attendance, and timekeeping records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local labor laws.
- Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and process improvements.
- Support disciplinary processes, grievance handling, and employee relations matters.
- Generate HR reports and dashboards on headcount, turnover, attendance, leave, and other HR metrics.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR documentation.
- Perform other HR operational duties assigned by management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4–8 years of experience in Human Resources, with strong exposure to HR Operations and Generalist functions.
- Experience in manufacturing, retail, construction, or similar industries is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with HRMS/ERP systems (Oracle HCM Fusion preferred)
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Good understanding of payroll inputs and HR reporting.
- Experience in employee lifecycle management.
