About the Role
Guru Outdoors India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a strategic and business-oriented HR Business Partner (HRBP) to align HR initiatives with business objectives. The ideal candidate will partner with leadership to build a high-performance culture, strengthen employee engagement, and drive organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnership
· Partner with department heads to achieve business goals through effective people strategies.
· Develop workforce planning and organizational development initiatives.
· Support business expansion through talent planning and succession management.
Talent Acquisition
· Lead hiring for mid and senior-level positions.
· Build a strong talent pipeline and employer branding strategy.
· Improve recruitment quality and reduce hiring turnaround time.
Performance Management
· Drive the KRA/KPI framework across departments.
· Manage probation reviews, appraisals, promotions, PIP, and career development.
· Coach managers on performance improvement and feedback.
Employee Engagement & Culture
· Design and implement engagement initiatives.
· Improve employee satisfaction, retention, and workplace culture.
· Address employee grievances and resolve conflicts effectively.
Learning & Development
· Identify training needs and create development plans.
· Build leadership capability through coaching and mentoring.
· Coordinate internal and external learning programs.
HR Operations & Compliance
· Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
· Monitor HR metrics including attrition, productivity, absenteeism, and engagement.
· Support HR audits and policy implementation.
Required Skills
· Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
· Excellent stakeholder management skills.
· Expertise in Performance Management (KRA/KPI, Appraisals & PIP).
· Strong recruitment and talent management experience.
· Knowledge of labour laws and HR compliance.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Preferred Industry
Advertising, Media, Outdoor Advertising (OOH), Marketing, Manufacturing, Retail, FMCG, or Service Industry.
Salary
· Mumbai: ₹18–27 LPA (based on experience and capability)

Qualifications & Skills
· Strong expertise in Human Resources, including HR operations, HR policies, and strategic HR business partnering.
· Proven experience in Employee Relations, with the ability to resolve conflicts, manage employee grievances, and foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
· Sound knowledge of Indian Labor Laws and Employment Regulations, ensuring full compliance with statutory and organizational requirements.
· Hands-on experience in Performance Management, including KRA/KPI implementation, goal setting, performance reviews, feedback, and appraisal processes.
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA/PGDM in HR or professional certifications such as SHRM or CIPD will be an added advantage.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a business-oriented mindset.
· Experience in the Advertising, Marketing, Media, OOH, Manufacturing, or other fast-paced industries will be preferred.
· Proficiency in HRIS, ATS, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and HR analytics tools.
· High ethical standards, integrity, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I).
