Role Description The Head of Quality Assurance is a full-time, on-site role based in Faridabad, responsible for leading the overall quality strategy and systems across manufacturing operations. This position oversees the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality assurance processes, standards, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing quality control activities, supervising audits and inspections, reviewing test results, and driving corrective and preventive actions. The role involves collaborating closely with production, R&D, procurement, and regulatory teams to maintain consistent product quality and reduce defects. The Head of Quality Assurance also mentors and develops the QA team, monitors key quality metrics, and supports new product introductions with robust validation and testing protocols.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Quality Assurance and Quality Management skills to design, implement, and govern end-to-end quality systems and policies.
- Candidates should possess hands-on Quality Control experience to monitor manufacturing processes, review inspection reports, and ensure adherence to product specifications.
- Candidates should possess Quality Auditing capabilities to plan and conduct internal and external audits, assess compliance, and recommend improvements.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret quality data, identify trends, perform root cause analysis, and support data-driven decisions.
- Experience in medical devices, healthcare products, or related manufacturing industries is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency with quality standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, GMP) and familiarity with risk management and validation practices.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing QA teams, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional departments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Pharmacy, or a related technical discipline preferred.
