Role Description The Service Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Faridabad. The Service Engineer will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and servicing material handling and conveyor systems at customer sites, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Daily tasks include diagnosing technical issues, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, conducting equipment inspections, and providing technical support and guidance to customers. The role involves preparing service reports, coordinating with the engineering and production teams for spare parts and upgrades, and supporting customer training on safe and efficient equipment operation. The Service Engineer will frequently visit client facilities and is expected to maintain professional communication and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
- Experience in field service and on-site equipment support in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with customers, operators, and internal teams.
- Technical support capabilities, including diagnostics, documentation, and customer guidance.
- Hands-on maintenance and repair skills for conveyors, material handling equipment, or similar machinery.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.
- Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and schematics; familiarity with basic safety standards.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites, work in industrial environments, and manage time independently.
- Previous experience in FMCG, packaging, food processing, warehousing, or material handling is an advantage.
