Talasha has been mandated to hire a Head of Finance for a Saas / AI based healthcare platform that connects international hospitals with hundreds of radiology AI applications, simplifying how medical AI tools are tested, deployed, and managed.
This is a leadership role that will be expected to grow the Finance function from grounds up - creating systems for efficient controllership as well as business finance functions
Responsibilities-
- Accounting & Controllership -Lead & manage the accounting department, ensure an efficient book keeping process & adherence to the US-India regulation and accounting standards & Fema. Oversee monthly closure of accounts in line with applicable accounting standards, including provisions, accruals, and period-end adjustments.
- Revenue Recognition & Invoicing- Apply principles of Saas based revenue recognition, fema & transfer pricing for cross border transactions. Create an efficient system of raising timely invoices including Accounts Receivable & Payable
- Taxation & Compliance - Handle income tax, fema & all relevant statutory compliances- for India as well as USA - including calculations, filing of returns, etc, coordinate with tax authorities for assessments & appeals, etc
- Financial & Investor Reporting -Prepare periodic management decks and financial reports for investors & internal stakeholders, create real time MIS dashboards, assist in fund raising & capital generation
- Strategic Financial Management-Partner with leadership on financial reporting, business performance tracking, and strategic decision-making. Assist in negotiating contracts with buyers and vendors, including pricing agreements, evaluate investment opportunities and support in due diligence processes
- Process improvements- Lead process improvement & automation, and finance SOPs to build scalable systems and controls.
- Treasury Management - Oversee cash flows, fund allocation, credit lines and ensure maintenance of optimal working capital
- Cross functional collaboration -Work with departmental heads across the business in supporting their financial activities, guiding them through financial process, and interpreting the progress
Good to Have -
- CA with 8-10 years Post Qualification Experience
- Experience in setting up the Finance & Controllership functions from scratch in startups
- Experience in Saas based Startups
- Proficient in cross border transactions, Fema regulations, transfer pricing & US-India accounting standards
CTC - Rs.50-60 LPA (Basis last drawn & including variable)
Location - South Delhi, In Office
