About the Role
Ekatraa Assistance Private Limited is seeking a proactive and execution-focused Business Development Manager to manage end-to-end field operations. This role involves vendor acquisition, onboarding, agreement execution, and ongoing client relationship management. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on the ground, building partnerships, and ensuring operational continuity across assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities
1. Vendor Acquisition & Onboarding
· Identify, approach, and onboard new vendors aligned with Ekatraa’s service offerings
· Conduct field visits to evaluate vendor suitability, capacity, and compliance
· Pitch Ekatraa’s value proposition and negotiate mutually beneficial terms
· Ensure smooth onboarding including documentation, KYC, and system registration
2. Contracting & Agreements
· Execute vendor agreements in line with company policies
· Coordinate with internal legal/operations teams to finalize terms
· Ensure all contracts are properly documented, signed, and archived
· Maintain compliance with regulatory and company standards
3. Client & Vendor Relationship Management
· Act as the primary point of contact for assigned vendors and clients
· Build and maintain long-term relationships to ensure retention and satisfaction
· Address operational issues, escalations, and service gaps in real time
· Monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to SLAs
4. Field Operations Ownership
· Take complete ownership of assigned territory operations
· Ensure service availability, quality, and consistency across vendors
· Conduct regular field audits and performance reviews
· Provide actionable feedback to improve operational efficiency
5. Reporting & Coordination of the BDM Team
· Maintain accurate records of vendor activities, agreements, and performance
· Share regular reports on business development progress and field insights
· Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, legal) for seamless execution
· Track KPIs such as vendor acquisition rate, retention, and service quality
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
· 5+ years of experience in field sales, business development, or vendor management
· Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently in a field-driven role
· Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
· Comfortable with extensive travel and on-ground execution
· Basic understanding of contracts and documentation processes

Role Nature
This is a 100% field-driven role requiring end-to-end ownership and extensive travel across the whole city of Bhubaneswar. Candidates with prior experience in fast-paced, execution-heavy environments (such as event management companies, Edutech, or service operations) will find this role highly aligned with their skill set.
The candidate will be responsible for the complete lifecycle—from vendor enrollment to agreement, execution and ongoing client/vendor management—for Ekatraa Assistance Private Limited.
