Job Title: General Manager / Sr Manager – Customer Success
Location: Ahmedabad | Travel across India
WHO WE ARE MachineAstro (formerly CIMCON Digital)
Every manufacturing plant runs on thousands of machines that, until recently, could not tell anyone how they were feeling. MachineAstro changes that.
We are a fast-growing Industrial IoT platform and solutions company that puts sensors, data and AI to work on the plant floor, enabling smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 for some of the most demanding industries in the world. Our solutions span predictive maintenance, energy analytics, digital twins and video analytics, deployed across Cement, Automotive, Chemical, FMCG, Steel, Metals and Pharma. Today,
MachineAstro is trusted by 350+ manufacturing plants across the globe. We have installed 25,000+ IoT devices on 6,000+ assets and helped our customers avoid 8,000+ hours of unplanned downtime. Those are not pilot numbers. They are production numbers, earned one plant at a time.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are entering our next phase of growth and need enterprising, self-motivated people who want to own outcomes. People who are comfortable walking into a steel plant or a pharma line, understanding what keeps the plant head awake at night, and translating that into a solution the customer will pay for and keep. People who treat a customer's downtime as their own problem.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Own key accounts: build and run strategic account plans for assigned manufacturing customers, and be the senior point of contact from plant reliability engineers to business heads.
- Prove value: turn condition-monitoring and diagnostics data into business cases customer leadership will fund - downtime avoided, failures prevented, maintenance cost reduced.
- Grow the account: hunt for opportunities inside existing customers — more assets, more plants and adjacent MachineAstro solutions — through consultative, value-based cross-sell and upsell.
- Be the technical authority: review vibration and condition-monitoring findings with plant teams, validate diagnoses on site, and make sure recommendations are acted on.
- Run executive engagement: lead periodic business reviews with plant and corporate leadership, presenting outcomes, risks and the expansion roadmap.
- Lead cross-functionally: coordinate deployment, analytics, product and sales teams to resolve escalations and close the loop on customer issues.
- Be on the plant floor: travel to customer plants and sites across India.
