Role Description The Account Executive is a full-time, Work from home, responsible for supporting UK clients with day-to-day accounting. This includes handling bookkeeping tasks, preparing annual accounts and reviewing financial statements, assisting with tax-related documentation, and ensuring that all work complies with relevant UK accounting standards and timelines. The role involves regular communication with client teams to clarify requirements, resolve queries, and provide status updates on deliverables. The Account Executive will also contribute to process improvement, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with internal colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality service.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in accounting principles and practices, including bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
- Ability to work with UK accounting standards, deadlines, and compliance requirements, with prior exposure to UK clients considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software and productivity tools with attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Effective communication and client service skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to manage client expectations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple assignments and meet strict deadlines.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and suggest process improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (such as ACCA, CA, or equivalent) are a plus.
- Work from home and adapt to UK time zone requirements when needed.
