Role Description The Fresher–Purchase (Procurement) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida. The role includes assisting with vendor identification, collecting quotations, and supporting the evaluation of suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery terms. The individual will help prepare purchase orders, update procurement and inventory records, and coordinate with internal teams to understand material and product requirements. Daily tasks include tracking order status, following up on deliveries, resolving basic discrepancies in quantity or documentation, and maintaining organized documentation for procurement activities. The role also involves learning and adhering to standard procurement procedures, using digital tools and the Opt2Deal platform, and supporting process improvements under guidance from senior team members.
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of procurement or supply chain processes and interest in industrial B2B commerce.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools for maintaining data and reports.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills for comparing quotations, prices, and delivery terms.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Ability to work on-site in Noida, collaborate in a team environment, and manage time effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field (fresh graduates encouraged to apply).
- Willingness to learn procurement tools, ERP or inventory management systems; prior internship in procurement or operations is an added advantage.
