We're looking for an exceptional Founding Business Leader to take SkillsCapital's AI Career Intelligence business into its next phase of growth.
This is not a zero-to-one, idea-stage role. The business model and product have been validated, customers are paying and onboarding, key team members are in place, and the technology foundation is operational, deployed, and used in real business workflows.
You'll work directly with founders and leadership to accelerate customer acquisition, revenue growth, partnerships, market expansion, product evolution, and organizational scale.
This is a scale-up builder's role. You aren't proving whether the business works—the market already is. Your challenge is to determine how big it can become and build the commercial engine and organization to get there.

The Opportunity: AI Career Intelligence
SkillsCapital is building a new AI Career Intelligence business for technology professionals.
The opportunity is to create a more intelligent way for professionals to navigate their careers by combining:
AI + Professional Intelligence + Talent Intelligence + Market Intelligence + Personalized Insights + Intelligent Workflows
The business model and product are validated, customers are paying and onboarding, key business functions are in place, and the existing AI-Native Talent Intelligence platform, AI-Native Talent Engine, and Agentic AI workflows provide the technology foundation.
Now comes the scale phase.
What You'll Own1. Own the Business Growth Agenda
Work with founders to establish revenue targets, growth priorities, market priorities, customer segments, expansion strategy, business KPIs, and organizational priorities.
2. Scale Customer Acquisition
Turn initial validation into a repeatable acquisition engine across sales, marketing, partnerships, community, referrals, content, product-led growth, and strategic channels.
3. Scale Revenue
Own the transition from Early paid traction → Repeatable revenue growth → Significant scale, including pricing, packaging, conversion, sales, customer expansion, retention, partnerships, and new revenue opportunities.
4. Accelerate Product-Market Fit
Maintain the loop Customer Feedback → Product Insights → Product Priorities → Better Customer Outcomes → More Growth.
5. Own Market Expansion
Evaluate geography, customer segments, technology domains, professional segments, partnerships, and new distribution channels, determining where the business should expand and why.
6. Build the Growth Engine
Develop Awareness → Acquisition → Activation → Conversion → Retention → Referral, working with marketing, sales, product, and technology leaders to improve each stage.
7. Build Strategic Partnerships
Identify partnerships that can accelerate distribution, including technology communities, professional networks, certification organizations, training providers, universities, technology companies, career platforms, industry associations, influencers/creators, and employers.
8. Lead Cross-Functional Execution
Connect Product + Technology + Marketing + Sales + Customer Success + Partnerships + Operations around shared outcomes.
9. Build the Organization
Key team members are already in place. Identify capability gaps, hire selectively, set priorities, establish accountability, create operating rhythms, develop leaders, and build a lean, high-output organization.
10. Work Directly With Founders
Participate in decisions around business strategy, product direction, market expansion, pricing, partnerships, organizational design, investment priorities, and growth strategy.
This is a role with real strategic influence, not simply execution against a predefined plan.
