Role Description The Food and Beverage Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. This role is responsible for overseeing daily food and beverage operations, including managing service standards, coordinating staff schedules, and maintaining quality across all outlets. The manager will supervise front-of-house and back-of-house teams, ensure adherence to hygiene and safety regulations, and handle guest feedback to improve service. Key tasks include menu coordination with culinary leadership, monitoring inventory, controlling costs, and supporting budgeting and revenue goals. The role also involves training team members, implementing standard operating procedures, and collaborating with management on promotions and events to drive guest engagement and profitability.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Food Service and Food & Beverage operations, including menu understanding and service workflows.
- Proven Customer Service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns, maintain service standards, and create positive dining experiences.
- Experience in Training team members, coaching staff on service protocols, and supporting skill development.
- Practical Budgeting abilities, including cost control, inventory oversight, and basic financial reporting.
- Prior experience in food and beverage management or supervisory roles within hotels, restaurants, or similar hospitality settings.
- Ability to lead diverse teams, delegate tasks effectively, and maintain calm under pressure.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Comfort working on-site in New Delhi with flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
