- Job Title: Senior Ticketing Executive (Domestic & International)
- Location: Pitampura, New Delhi (On-site)
- Job Type: Full-time
- Experience: Minimum 5–8 years (pure ticketing role)
About the RoleWe are looking for a hardcore Ticketing Specialist who lives and breathes airfare—across both domestic (India) and international sectors. This is not a tour-operations role; it is a 100% ticketing-focused position. You will be the master of Amadeus, Galileo, and other GDS/portals, responsible for finding the absolute best fares, issuing tickets instantly, and managing complex reissues, cancellations, and 24x7 emergency modifications. If you can quote the lowest logical fare blindfolded and handle chaotic last-minute changes without breaking a sweat, we want you.
Key Responsibilities- End-to-End Ticketing (Domestic + International):
- Handle PNR creation, fare quotation, pricing, and ticketing for domestic (India) and international sectors (USA, Europe, Australia, Middle East, Southeast Asia, etc.) using Amadeus and Galileo.
- Issue, re-issue, revalidate, void, and refund tickets as per airline fare rules.
- Process exchanges, cancellations, and schedule changes for both one-way and multi-sector complex itineraries.
- Aggressive Fare Sourcing (Best Rates):
- Go beyond GDS—tap into consolidator portals, airline corporate desks, NDC platforms, and bulk fare inventories to secure the lowest net/bulk fares for both domestic and international routes.
- Compare fares across multiple GDSs and direct channels to ensure we always offer the most competitive pricing to clients.
- Negotiate with airline sales teams for ad-hoc corporate discounts and group block seats.
- 24x7 Crisis & Emergency Support:
- Provide round-the-clock support (including weekends and holidays) for urgent ticket modifications—flight cancellations, misconnects, re-routings, no-shows, and medical emergencies—across all time zones.
- Respond to agents and clients instantly via phone, WhatsApp, and email to resolve ticketing crises in real time.
- Queue Management & Quality Control:
- Clear GDS queues (Q-processing) daily to ensure timely ticketing and avoid auto-cancellations by airline deadlines.
- Audit all issued tickets for fare accuracy, correct endorsements, and baggage allowances.
- Reporting & Reconciliation:
- Maintain a meticulous daily log of all tickets issued, reissued, and refunded.
- Prepare weekly savings reports showing cost comparisons and rates secured vs. market rates.
- Reconcile weekly sales, payment collections, and supplier invoices.
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)- Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on ticketing experience in a travel agency, OTA, or tour operator, handling both domestic and international air tickets.
- GDS Proficiency (Mandatory):
- Expert-level command of Amadeus and Galileo is a must.
- Ability to handle complex interline itineraries, mixed-class bookings, and multi-city sectors.
- Deep understanding of fare basis, NUC/ROE calculations, penalty structures, and reissue grids.
- Domestic Market Knowledge: Thorough understanding of Indian domestic airline policies (IndiGo, Air India, Vistara, Akasa, SpiceJet), including corporate programs and group booking procedures.
- Fare Sourcing Ability: Proven track record of consistently securing below-market fares from consolidators, GDS, and airline direct sources.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal English and Hindi. Must be able to confidently explain complex fare rules and reissue costs to clients and internal teams.
- Availability: Must be willing to work a 24x7 rotational shift (including nights, weekends, and holidays). This is critical for handling domestic early-morning flights and international time-zone differences.
- Tools: Advanced MS Excel skills for fare comparisons and reporting. CRM experience is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Razor-sharp attention to detail, ability to make quick decisions under extreme pressure, and a strong sense of ownership.
Preferred (Good to Have)- IATA/UFTAA certification or Amadeus/Galileo certified professional.
- Experience with NDC platforms and consolidator portals like Mystifly, TPConnects, or similar.
- Existing relationships with airline GSA desks and consolidators in India.
What We Offer- Competitive salary + performance incentives based on fare savings (domestic + international).
- Opportunity to work with a high-volume, fast-paced ticketing desk.
- Zero-bureaucracy, growth-focused environment where your expertise is valued.
