Role Description The Finance Intern at Arts of Finance will support the team with day-to-day financial and analytical tasks in an on-site role based in Bhopal. Responsibilities include assisting in the preparation and review of financial statements, supporting basic accounting entries, and helping analyze financial data for internal reporting and instructional materials. The intern will help compile market research related to stock trading and investing, prepare summaries and presentations, and maintain organized financial records. This internship role also involves collaborating with instructors and staff, contributing to classroom materials, and learning financial concepts through practical exposure.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
- Foundational knowledge of finance and an interest in stock markets, investing, and financial instruments.
- Basic understanding of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Familiarity with accounting principles and ability to assist with data entry and reconciliations.
- Effective communication skills for presenting findings, preparing reports, and collaborating with team members.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets (e.g., Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets) and comfort with numerical work.
- Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work reliably in an on-site, team-oriented environment.
