About the role
Atomquark Software LLP is looking for a detail-oriented Finance & Accounts Executive to support our day-to-day accounting operations at our Faridabad office. If you enjoy keeping the books clean, staying on top of compliance, and growing your career within a hands-on finance function at a fast-moving startup — we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll do
- Maintain and update day-to-day books of accounts, journal entries, and the general ledger
- Process accounts payable and receivable — invoicing, vendor payments, and follow-up on outstanding receivables
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash flow and petty cash
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), TDS returns, and support related statutory compliance
- Support month-end and year-end closing — accruals, provisions, and ledger scrutiny
- Assist with financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits and provide required documentation
- Manage employee reimbursements, expense claims, and vendor account reconciliations
- Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping in line with company policies and regulations
What we're looking for
- Working knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime (exposure to other accounting/ERP software is a plus)
- Practical understanding of GST, TDS, and general statutory compliance
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas) and MS Office
- Strong grasp of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and reconciliation
- Good numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Effective communication and the ability to coordinate with internal teams and vendors
- Ability to manage timelines and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) — required
- 1.5–2 years of relevant experience in accounts and finance
- Candidates based in or willing to commute to Faridabad, Haryana preferred
