Role Description The Finance & Accounts Executive – GST & Business Finance will manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations, with a strong focus on Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance and reporting. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, maintaining accurate accounting records, handling accounts receivable and payable, and supporting business finance activities such as budgeting and cash flow tracking. The role will also involve coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders for GST filings, audits, reconciliations, and responding to finance-related queries. The position is a full-time, on-site role based in Meerut, requiring regular collaboration with operational and management teams to support informed financial decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance and Business Finance, including budgeting, cash flow analysis, and basic financial planning.
- Hands-on experience with Goods and Services Tax (GST), including returns filing, reconciliations, compliance, and liaison with tax authorities.
- Ability to prepare, analyze, and interpret Financial Statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Proficiency in Account Management, covering accounts receivable/payable, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations.
- Exposure to Sales processes and their financial impact, including invoicing, revenue recognition, and coordination with sales teams.
- Working knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work respectfully with diverse teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications in taxation or accounting are a plus.
