About us
Privado AI is a privacy intelligence platform trusted by enterprise privacy and engineering teams to continuously monitor, map, and govern personal data across their tech stack. We're backed by Peak XV, Insight Partners, Emergent VC, and Together Fund, and we're growing fast in the US market.
Our customers include some of the most recognizable companies in the world, including Costco, HP, Autodesk, Intuit, Nasdaq, ZoomInfo, Sony, Robinhood, Mattel, Riot Games, DoorDash, Takeda, Chipotle, P&G, and Infosys. Our buyers are privacy officers, general counsel, and engineering leaders. They're sophisticated people who expect substance, and that's exactly what we bring.
Location:
Remote, India Hours: Daily overlap with US hours
The opportunity:
Events are Privado's biggest pipeline engine.
Webinars produce the largest share of event-driven pipeline. Around them sit partner dinners, IAPP sponsorships, and Bridge, our virtual flagship. From 2027, our calendar will be roughly evenly split between digital and physical events, with the number of events nearly doubling.
We're looking for someone to own this engine.
You won't be joining to coordinate events. You'll own them end to end: from deciding what we should talk about, to getting the right people in the room, to turning that room into a pipeline.
Today, the Head of Demand Generation runs much of this alongside the rest of the demand-gen function. Within your first 60 days, the goal is for events to be yours.
You'll report to the Head of Demand Generation and work closely with Sales, Product Marketing, our CEO, and external partners.
What you will own
- Webinars. Two a month or more, end to end. Topic, speakers, landing page, email, run of show, moderation, follow up. Speakers come from law firms, consulting practices, and privacy organizations. You measure what worked and make the next one better.
- Partner dinners and lunches. About one a month. You pick the city, build the guest list with the Head of Demand Generation and sales, chase the invitations, and hand the room to AEs.
- Conference sponsorships. IAPP Global Privacy Summit is the anchor. Tier selection, booth build, collateral, staffing, speaking slots, lead capture, and the call on whether the spend earns a repeat.
- Bridge. Our virtual flagship in the first week of February and the biggest pipeline event of our year. Programming, speakers, platform, promotion. It is yours from day one, with guidance from the Head of Demand Generation. This is your first large project and the fastest way to show us what you can do.
- Partner programs. Co marketing with IAPP, FPF, law firms, and implementation consultancies.
- Calendar and budget. One events calendar, per event budgets, and HubSpot tracking on registrations, attendance, and sales accepted opportunities.
- Community. Once the calendar runs itself, the people we keep putting in rooms should be talking to each other between events. You build that.
What we are looking for
- 4+ years in field or events marketing, running events for US audiences. This is not your first marketing job nor a first field marketing job.
- Writing carries this role. Session title, abstract, landing page, invitation, reminders, follow up. All of it is yours. You will be judged on your writing more than anything else in this process.
- You are as good live as you are on the page. You will brief a speaker who has not read the deck and moderate a panel when someone goes off script.
- You plan far out. Speakers confirmed weeks ahead, run of show written down, venue and catering settled while there is still time to change them.
- You can explain what your events produced. Registrations, attendance, opportunities, and what you changed when a number came in low.
- Senior US audiences do not faze you. Heads of privacy, general counsel, and senior consultants are who you will be emailing and hosting. You are also comfortable picking up the phone to a vendor in the US to get something done.
- You pull your own numbers. HubSpot or similar, webinar software, landing pages, UTMs, reporting.
- You are self sufficient. Nobody will chase you for speaker confirmations, registration counts, budgets, or follow up.
- You carry a pipeline number. Event sourced qualified pipeline is your primary quarterly target. Secondary targets are qualified meetings booked, net new MQLs, event ROI, and attendance and ICP fit.
Privacy and legal tech reward credibility. Experience marketing to legal, compliance, security, or privacy buyers helps. If you do not have it, tell us how you got fluent in an unfamiliar market before. We will teach you privacy. We cannot teach you curiosity.
Nice to have: running a booth at a large industry conference and knowing what actually goes wrong. Co marketing with associations, analysts, or channel partners. Building a community that people actually post in. Owning a budget and being able to show where it went.
What success looks like in 60 days
- You have run two webinars end to end and hosted one partner dinner.
- You own the events calendar and the budget, and the Head of Demand Generation is out of the critical path on webinars.
- Bridge programming is locked and speakers are confirmed.
- You know what a privacy persona from our ICP actually worries about, and you have met our contacts at the law firms and consultancies we co host with.
- You know your registration and attendance numbers and what is moving MQLs, SQLs, pipeline, and conversion.
What we offer
- 28+ LPA fixed, plus ESOPs for the right candidate depending on the experience.
- Unlimited paid time off. We care what you produce, not hours logged.
- Personal and family medical insurance, and a remote work setup grant.
- A lean team where events are the pipeline, not a support function, in a category with real regulatory tailwinds.
Hiring Process
Round 1. Exploratory call. Introductions, the role, your background. Where you tell us three things:
A. What's the best event you've run end to end? What did you do, and what did it produce?
B. Walk us through one that underperformed. What broke, and what did you change?
C. What's your read on field marketing today, and what would you do differently?
Round 2. Domain discussion. What marketing means to you, and a walkthrough of your work.
Round 3. Culture conversation. Values and aspirations, and your chance to interview us.
