Full-time role on site based in Panvel, Mumbai.
Role Description:
- Deliver Façade concepts and translating them into accurate technical drawings and specifications for projects across multiple building types.
- Preparing and reviewing shop drawings, coordinating façade design details with architects, structural engineers, and project managers, and ensuring design alignment with performance, safety, and compliance requirements.
- Selecting appropriate materials and systems for cladding and glazing, resolving technical design issues, and supporting the manufacturing and installation teams with clear documentation and design clarifications.
- Improve design standards, participate in project meetings, and support quality control processes for façade systems.
Qualifications
- Strong façade design expertise, including experience in Facade Design (Commercial, residential, or institutional projects)
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Shop Drawings, with attention to detail and constructability.
- Knowledge of Cladding systems, including ACP and other exterior envelope materials and assemblies.
- Experience with Glazing systems, curtain walls, and structural glazing, with understanding of performance and safety standards.
- Proficiency in CAD/BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and ability to produce accurate technical documentation.
- Understanding of building codes, façade-related standards, and compliance requirements.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Prior experience in façade or fenestration industry is highly beneficial; exposure to complex or high-rise projects is a plus.
