Role Description This is a full-time, on-site SketchUp Designer role based in Mumbai. The SketchUp Designer will translate design concepts into detailed 3D models and visualizations for luxury interiors and integrated technology solutions. Responsibilities include developing accurate spatial layouts, modeling furniture and architectural elements, and preparing presentations and renders that support client meetings and internal reviews. The role involves close collaboration with interior designers, technology specialists, and project managers to ensure design intent, technical feasibility, and material selections are faithfully represented in SketchUp. The SketchUp Designer will also assist in updating design revisions, maintaining organized project files, and aligning deliverables with brand standards and project timelines.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in SketchUp for 3D modeling, spatial planning, and detailed interior layouts.
- Experience with rendering and visualization tools (e.g., V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion) to create realistic presentations.
- Knowledge of interior design principles, materials, finishes, and furniture design; ability to interpret design concepts into precise models.
- Ability to read and develop technical drawings and documentation (plans, sections, elevations) in coordination with design and project teams.
- Attention to detail, strong aesthetic sense, and ability to work within luxury design standards.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in a multidisciplinary studio environment.
- Proficiency with design and productivity software such as AutoCAD or similar CAD tools, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office is a plus.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or a related field; prior experience in high-end residential or commercial projects is an advantage.
