Role Description The Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Rewari. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring EHS policies and procedures across construction and operational sites to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards. Day-to-day tasks include conducting safety audits and inspections, assessing environmental risks, managing occupational health programs, and leading accident investigations to identify root causes and preventive actions. The EHS Manager will plan and deliver regular training sessions for employees and contractors, maintain documentation and reporting, and collaborate with project and site teams to embed safety best practices into daily operations. The role also involves continuous improvement of EHS performance, promoting a strong safety culture, and supporting sustainable and safe development practices across all projects.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Health & Safety and Environment Health and Safety (EHS), including development and enforcement of EHS policies and procedures.
- Candidates should possess skills in Occupational Health and Accident Investigation, with experience in incident reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
- Candidates should possess skills in Training, with the ability to design and deliver safety and awareness programs for diverse site teams.
- Relevant qualifications in EHS, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Engineering, or related fields; professional certifications in safety or EHS are an advantage.
- Knowledge of local and national safety and environmental regulations, risk assessment methodologies, and construction or real estate industry standards.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills, with attention to detail and the ability to implement practical safety solutions on-site.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and promote a proactive safety culture.
- Prior experience as an EHS professional in real estate, infrastructure, or construction projects is highly beneficial.
