Role Description Sr. Site Supervisor in Dosti Reality Ltd is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division, responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities and ensuring work is executed in line with approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and timelines. This role coordinates with engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to plan daily work schedules, allocate labor and materials, and resolve on-site issues promptly. The Sr. Site Supervisor monitors progress, conducts regular site inspections, maintains logs and reports, and ensures quality checks at each stage of construction. The role includes verifying material receipt and usage, enforcing site safety protocols, supporting adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements, and escalating any delays or risks to project management. The position also involves mentoring junior supervisors, fostering a culture of compliance and teamwork, and supporting handover readiness through snag checks and final inspections.
Qualifications
- Strong construction supervision and site management skills, including coordination of daily activities, resource allocation, and progress monitoring.
- Experience with quality control and safety management, ensuring adherence to building standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, with a solid understanding of construction techniques and materials.
- Proficiency in basic project documentation, reporting, and use of site-related software or tools (e.g., MS Office, project tracking systems).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with project managers, engineers, contractors, workers, and external stakeholders.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address on-site issues, manage risks, and maintain timelines and quality.
- Relevant educational background such as a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Prior experience in a supervisory role on residential or mixed-use construction projects, preferably within the Pune or broader MMR region.
- Knowledge of local building codes, statutory requirements, and industry best practices
