Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role located in Una. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and wiring across the facility, ensuring safe and continuous operations. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing electrical issues, performing routine inspections, conducting preventive maintenance, and responding to breakdowns in a timely manner. The role involves working with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and comply with safety standards. The Electrician is expected to document work performed, follow company procedures, and support improvements to electrical infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge in electricity and electrical engineering principles.
- Candidates should possess practical skills in electrical work, including installation of wiring, panels, and industrial electrical components.
- Candidates should possess experience in maintenance & repair of electrical equipment and systems in an industrial or commercial setting.
- Candidates should possess troubleshooting skills for identifying faults, testing circuits, and resolving electrical issues safely and efficiently.
- Relevant technical diploma, certification, or apprenticeship in electrical trade is preferred.
- Working knowledge of electrical safety standards and ability to use tools, testing instruments, and protective equipment appropriately.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, manuals, and technical documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability in shift-based work, and capability to collaborate with operations and maintenance teams.
