Role Description The AWP Electrician is a full-time, on-site role based in Navi Mumbai, responsible for electrical maintenance and repair of aerial work platforms such as boom lifts, scissor lifts, and related equipment. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections, diagnosing electrical issues, and conducting troubleshooting to ensure safe and reliable operation of all equipment. The role involves wiring, component replacement, calibration of electrical systems, and documentation of work performed in accordance with company standards and safety regulations. The AWP Electrician will collaborate with technical and operations teams to minimize downtime, support preventive maintenance schedules, and provide input on improving equipment performance and safety.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge of electricity and electrical engineering principles relevant to industrial equipment.
- Hands-on experience in electrical work, including wiring, panel work, and installation of electrical components.
- Proficiency in maintenance & repair of aerial work platforms or similar heavy equipment, following safety and compliance standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults, interpret technical diagrams, and use diagnostic tools effectively.
- Diploma or ITI in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field; relevant certifications in electrical safety are an advantage.
- Familiarity with industrial safety practices, lockout/tagout procedures, and use of personal protective equipment.
- Capability to work on-site in Navi Mumbai, manage tasks independently, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in material handling, construction equipment, or access platforms is preferred.
