Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Design Engineer role based in Indore. The Electrical Design Engineer will develop and review electrical system designs for pharmaceutical facilities, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems, in coordination with multidisciplinary project teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing drawings and specifications, performing load calculations, selecting equipment, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards, safety codes, and pharmaceutical industry requirements. The role involves supporting turnkey project execution, collaborating with HVAC, MEP, and architectural teams, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and participating in installation and commissioning activities. The Electrical Design Engineer will also assist in design optimization, troubleshooting design-related issues, and contributing to documentation for project approvals and client presentations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Design and Electrical Engineering, with experience in industrial or pharmaceutical projects.
- Candidates should possess skills in Design Engineering, including preparing engineering drawings, specifications, and design calculations.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Electricity and Power Distribution, including load analysis, panel schedules, and protection systems.
- Working knowledge of relevant electrical codes and standards, and familiarity with clean room, HVAC, and MEP interfaces.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Proficiency in CAD or similar design software and basic understanding of BIM tools is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, industrial, or process plant environments, and knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements, is an advantage.
