Role Description The Electrical Drafter role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The Electrical Drafter will prepare detailed electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics in accordance with project specifications and industry standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and updating electrical plans, supporting engineers with technical documentation, and coordinating with project teams to ensure design accuracy and consistency. The role involves reviewing drawings for compliance, incorporating revisions, and maintaining organized records of all drafting outputs. The Electrical Drafter will also assist in resolving design-related queries during project execution and contribute to continuous improvement of drafting practices.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering concepts, including Electricity and Electrical Design.
- Ability to develop and interpret Electrical Plans and related technical documentation.
- Proficiency in Technical Drawing using CAD or similar drafting software.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and adherence to safety and industry standards.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Prior experience in industrial or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
