Role Description The Electrical Design Engineer will work on-site in Indore in a full-time capacity, developing electrical engineering designs for pharmaceutical facilities and related projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, load calculations, and power distribution schemes that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves coordinating with architecture, civil, HVAC, and MEP teams to ensure integrated, safe, and efficient electrical systems. The engineer will review technical specifications, select appropriate electrical equipment, support installation and commissioning activities, and participate in design reviews and client meetings. The position also requires maintaining documentation, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental norms, and providing technical support during project execution.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, Electricity, and Power Distribution, with the ability to design safe and efficient electrical systems for industrial facilities.
- Proficiency in Electrical Design and Design Engineering, including creating detailed drawings, calculations, and technical documentation using relevant software tools.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Experience in industrial or pharmaceutical projects, including familiarity with clean room, HVAC, and MEP coordination, is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., IEC, IS standards) and best practices for fire and electrical safety.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, schematics, and construction drawings, and to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
